Master

Location: Seagoing

Condor Ferries operates a fleet of 4 vessels between the UK south coast (Portsmouth and Poole), the Channel Islands and France (St Malo and Cherbourg).

We have an exciting opportunity for a Master based on the south coast and employed on the Condor fleet.

The Master will need to have previous experience of commanding and handling vessels, ideally within coastal /commercial and passenger transport sectors. Master Unlimited CoC, and fluent written and spoken English are essential. The successful applicant will be team players and be looking to further their careers within a varied and enjoyable working environment.

2nd Officer

Location: Seagoing

Condor Ferries operates a fleet of 4 vessels between the UK south coast (Portsmouth and Poole), the Channel Islands and France (St Malo and Cherbourg).

We have an exciting opportunity for a 2nd Officer to be based on the south coast and employed on the Condor fleet.

The 2nd Officer should have previous experience in a similar role in a passenger based operation. You must hold an OOW (deck) unlimited CoC, although a Chief Officer Unlimited CoC would be an advantage, and be a self motivated and dynamic individual. Fluent written and spoken English are also essential.

Business Analyst

Location: Poole

We are looking for a Business Analyst to be based in Poole, reporting to the Programme Manager.  This is a fixed term role required for approximately six months. 

 

This role will assist in the design, build, communication and implementation of customer related projects.  Condor has a Company development programme which includes a number of customer related projects such as a loyalty scheme.

 

To apply for this role you must fulfil the following criteria:-

 

  • At least 2 years working in a project environment, including IT systems implementation
  • A high level of numeracy and literacy
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills, including financial analysis

 

You must also be a team player with strong personal communication skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines and remain calm and level headed when under pressure.  The ability to prioritise and work to competing deadlines is also essential in order to respond to a dynamic and fast changing environment.

Cabin Crew

Location: Seagoing

NOW RECRUITING FOR 2016 SUMMER SEASON  

AVERAGE 42 HOURS PER WEEK - VARIED SHIFT PATTERN  FULL TRAINING PROVIDED

Operating out of Poole

 

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our dedicated crew and deliver a first class customer experience.  Sail between Poole, Guernsey and Jersey and enjoy a varied role with the opportunity to travel, meet a variety of people and learn a multitude of skills.

You will receive two weeks comprehensive training, providing internationally recognised certification, commencing the 8th July. Positions start on 21st and the 23rd July and finish at the end of October 2016. 

You will have excellent communication skills, a good grasp of the English language, and be able to work effectively under pressure as part of a fun and energising team.  You will need to be able to manage your time effectively and be punctual, flexible and adaptable.  Experience in retail or food and beverage would also be beneficial.

Working as onboard crew is a challenge, but it is equally as rewarding, and if you have the distinctive skill set we are looking for we would be very keen to hear from you.

Interviews will be held In Poole on the 6th July and you must be available on all the dates stated above.
