Candidates will need to be fully STCW certificated and previous experience is essential.  Type rating and company specific training will be provided.  Positions are expected to start mid March until the end of September.

The positions all operate on an attractive 4:4 shift pattern which will include weekends, bank holidays and night shifts.

Condor Ferries is the leading operator of high speed and conventional ro-ro vessels between the UK, Channel Islands and France.  We are currently recruiting for an Watchkeeping Engineer to join our fast craft engineering team.

Applicant must be flexible in working arrangements to fit around the maintenance needs of the vessel.  Expected rota of one week on, one week off. 

Qualifications: Min STCW (95) Reg III/1Engineer Officer of the Watch motor unrestricted.

Condor Ferries is looking for applicants based within the Poole or Weymouth area who are able to work our new attractive 4:4 shift pattern, including weekends, bank holidays and night shifts.  The ideal candidate will be smart in appearance, have excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a close knit team.
Seaman/Steward/ess (Salary £13,150 per annum, pro rata)
Seaman role includes some of the steward/ess duties but will also work within the deck team carrying out other tasks such as mooring , vehicle deck duties and vessel maintenance.
Steward/ess  - previous experience in a customer focused environment advantageous, as crew are expected to serve in all onboard areas including the cafe, bar and shop.
Successful candidates will take part in an extensive training programme, leading to internationally recognised qualifications.  Training for both roles commences in April and positions continue until Sep/Oct 2010.
