Chief Engineer

We have a 6 Month fixed contract opportunity for a Chief Engineer, to work on Condor’s fast ferries.

 The successful applicant will have a 3/2 Unrestricted Ticket and will be responsible for the safe, efficient organisation and economical operation of machinery, machinery spaces, electrical and electronic equipment at all times on board ship, working closely with the Master and Chief Officer.

Cabin Crew

CABIN CREW - COMPETITIVE SALARY

AVERAGE 42 HOURS PER WEEK - VARIED SHIFT PATTERN 

FULL TRAINING PROVIDED

Operating out of Poole

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our dedicated crew and deliver a first class customer experience.  Sail between Poole, Guernsey and Jersey and enjoy a varied role with the opportunity to travel, meet a variety of people and learn a multitude of skills.

Positions start on Monday 1 June  and finish at the end of September.  You will receive two weeks comprehensive training, providing internationally recognised certification.

You will have excellent communication skills, a good grasp of the English language, and be able to work effectively under pressure as part of a fun and energising team.  You will need to be able to manage your time effectively and be punctual, flexible and adaptable.  Experience in retail or food and beverage would also be beneficial. You must be over 18 and must be able to work right through from 1 June to 30 September.

Working as onboard crew is a challenge, but it is equally as rewarding, and if you have the distinctive skill set we are looking for we would be very keen to hear from you.

Reservations Consultants (Seasonal) Jersey

Location: Jersey

Management Accountant - Assets

Location: Poole

Management Accountant-Assets                                      Permanent

Based in Poole                                                              Full time

We have an opportunity for a Management Accountant – Assets to join the Finance Department.

The purpose of the job is to ensure the accurate reporting of Vessel operating Costs, Capex, Refit and repair costs within the Freight and Passenger division, assisting with budget setting, provision of financial weekly and monthly analysis, and contributing to the production of both monthly and statutory accounts.

The successful applicant will be a good communicator, and have previous experience in an accounting environment and exposure to Fixed Asset management is essential. The successful applicant will be highly computer literate with excellent Excel skills and experience of using a Finance and ERP system.

The motivation to learn and advance in this chosen career path is an essential requirement for this role and support will be available for further study after successful completion of a 3 month probationary period.
