Passenger Services Agents

Location: Jersey

Passenger Services Agents        

Based in Jersey, Channel Islands

Full time (40 hours) per week- shift work

Seasonal to 31 October 2016

Condor Ferries operates a fleet of 4 vessels between the UK south coast (Portsmouth and Poole), the Channel Islands and France (St Malo and Cherbourg).                         

We have vacancies for full time Passenger Services Agents based at Condor’s offices at the Ferry Terminal in Jersey. The contract is for a fixed term through to 31 October 2016. 

Main responsibilities of a Passenger Services Agent are:- 

  • Assisting with the checking-in, marshalling and loading and unloading, collection of passengers, vehicles and freight/goods to and from all company vessels.
  • Assist in the preparation and completion of all paperwork and administrative procedures relating to all vehicle, passenger, freight and vessel movements.
  • Provide a reservations service, via telephone and face to face, supporting our central reservations office.

Key Skills & Personal Profile

  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Articulate & confident telephone manner
  • Accurate keyboard/computer skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Full UK driving licence preferred

Reporting to the Passenger Services Management Team, you will be expected to work shifts which may include unsocial hours, weekends and bank holidays.
