How to get to Jersey from the UK?

You can visit Jersey from the UK on board Condor Ferries. We offer 2 ferry routes from the UK, sailing from either Poole or Portsmouth to Jersey.

How long is the ferry from UK to Jersey?

Our fastest route is from Poole to Jersey, getting you there in 4 hours. Our second route is from Portsmouth to Jersey on Commodore Clipper which sails via Guernsey to Jersey in 10 hours 20 minutes or from 8 hours direct on Tuesdays. 

 

Do you need a passport to go to Jersey from the UK?

You do not need a passport to travel from the UK to Jersey, but you do need to bring a form of photographic ID with you. Our accepted forms of ID to travel are listed here.

 

Can you take dogs on the ferry from the UK to Jersey?

Yes, you can bring dogs on board our ferries from the UK to Jersey. We allow pets, that can either be kept in a carrier that meets RSPCA requirements or that can stay in your car. Our definition of a pet is a domestic animal such as a cat or a dog.

Do I need travel insurance for Jersey from the UK?
