Bellagio is an authentic Italian restaurant located just around the corner from the bus station in St Helier. The restaurant serves up a selection of homemade Italian and European dishes with gorgeous al fresco seating to make the most of the sun in the summer. On the menu you’ll find traditional Italian classics like lasagna and tiramisu, but you’ll also find a selection of specialty dishes like lamb shank, salmon fillet, and duck with a red wine and cherry jus.

Out of all the Italian restaurants in St Helier, Jersey, Café Ristaurante Italia is one of the most down-to-earth and friendly. Hidden inside Colombia Court, this restaurant isn’t directly on the high-street, but its popularity and good food means that it is still busy, and booking is a must for a guaranteed table! On the menu you can find authentic homemade pastas and pizzas, as well as delicious meat and fish for under £20.

Open since 1982, La Taverne is one of Jersey’s longest-established Italian and French restaurants and once you sample some of its fantastic flavours, you’ll realise why people have kept coming back for more. On the menu, you’ll find plentiful amounts of seafood and spaghetti with special Jersey twists for a unique meal in a beautiful restaurant.

Little Italy oozes authentic Italian charm with its red tablecloths, stone archways and wooden-paneled bar. A favourite with the locals and tourists, Little Italy is a small restaurant that fills up quickly so be sure to book a table! The first thing you’ll note is the attentive service with a greeting from the proud owners who will be happy to talk you through the menu. Pizzas, pastas, fish and meat are what Little Italy do best, and if you have room, you can even try the profiterole mountain for dessert!

La Cappanina is the place to go for special occasions. From the moment you step through its doors to the moment you leave, you are looked after with first class service. The dining room is classily decorated with rustic wooden panels and a wonderful array of vintage wine bottles. This isn’t the place to go for a quick pizza or pasta as on the menu you’ll find mostly meat and fish dishes, making the most of the delicious ingredients that lie on the restaurant’s doorstep.

Pizzeria Famosa is the place to go in Jersey for authentic Neapolitan pizza. The dough is made onsite using homemade yeast, undergoing a 72-hour rising process before being stretched by hand and baked in a brick oven at 450 degrees. There is a children’s menu, as well as a vegan menu so all pizza lovers will be able to enjoy a slice of delicious authentic cuisine, and those who aren’t a fan of pizza can make the most out of the deli board on offer.
