The North Show & BATTLE OF THE FLOWERS

One of the main events in Guernsey's summer has to be the North Show and Battle of Flowers, with thousands of visitors flocking to Saumarez Park every year to enjoy this event.

The North Show shows exhibitors entering their traditional livestock including the famous Guernsey cows, goats and agricultural produce. As well as those who exhibit on a more professional stance, The North Show provides armatures with the opportunity to display their entries in categories such as fur and feathers, fruit and vegetables, floral classes and so many more! 

The Battle of Flowers involves the judging of many colourful floats by spectators and members of the public, as the floats compete for the Prix d'honneur. Stick around for the commencement of the battle in the evening, followed by a wonderful firework display.
