2. Legends of the coast boat tour 

 

If you are after something a little different, the 1-hour legends of the coast boat tour will take you along the dramatic cliffs of Guernsey’s coast. The guide will talk about smugglers, pirates, harbours and castles on the way! 6. Guernsey city tour - walking private shore tour

 

This incredible walking tour is half a day long and will start with a visit to the beautiful Castle Cornet, your next stop is Victor Hugo’s Hauteville House, you will then lead onto the stunning Candie Gardens with your tour finishing at the Parish Church of Saint Peter Port. 7. Town walk and Castle Cornet tour 

 

For an exciting Guernsey guided tour, the Town Walk and Castle Cornet tour is the one for you. The tour starts at the main door of the Town Church at St Peter Port where the guide will provide you with all the rich history of the island. It can be a walking tour or a tour with transportation by coach, minibus, MPV or private car. 10. Randalls of Guernsey brewery tour 

 

If you fancy a boozy Friday evening out, Randalls is one of Guernsey's brewer of fine beer and ale. The tour will take you around the brewery and the team will explain how the equipment is used to turn malted barley, hops, water and yeast into Breda and Patois. The tour is available for groups of 12-24 people and lasts around an hour and a half. It costs £5 per person and you are given a free pint of larger or ale!

Guernsey bus & coach tours

 

Exploring Guernsey by coach or bus is the most convenient and cost-efficient way to discover this Channel Island. There is a variety of different Guernsey coach tours on offer that cater to different time limits and interests. If you want to plan your own route you can always hop on and off public Guernsey’s excellent public transport.

Island tour 

 

If you fancy touring Guernsey in a vintage 1954 Albion Victor coach, the Intransit Island tour is the ideal unique experience. This coach is the last working bus of its era on public service in the British Isles! You will start your adventure at 10:30 from the coach bay in St Peter Port and the tour incorporates visits to Jerbourg Point, Little Chapel as well as the parishes of Torteval and St Peter’s. During the 3.5 hour tour, the coach will stop off at Patois Brasserie for refreshments. This Guernsey bus tour is available Tuesdays and Friday’s and costs £15 per person and £10 for under 12s.

The Guernsey explorer

 

For a short but informative coach tour, the 90-minute Guernsey Explorer will let you discover the charm and character of the stunning island. The trip starts by heading north to Pembroke Bay and from there you will drive along the gorgeous west coast. You will then be led inland where you will have the opportunity to explore The Little Chapel. To finish off the trip you will drive through the parishes of St Andrews and St Martins. The tour is specifically designed for day-trippers and cruise liners who have a limited time on the island, it costs £10 for adults and £5 for children under 12.

Half day island tour 

 

The Half Day Island tour is approximately 3.5 hours long and departs from the Liberation Monument at St Peter Port. The journey will begin by driving through the town and stopping to admire the picture-perfect views of the neighbouring islands at Havelet Bay. You will also get the chance to explore The Little Chapel and then head onwards to Plemont Point. There will also be a stop for refreshments at Bruce Russell and after this, you will continue along the west coasts before arriving back at St Peter Port. The fees are adults £20 each and children under 12 at £10 each).

Full Day island tour

Potato Peel Pie tour

Cycle tour

 

If you are up for something a little bit different and want to get you heart pumping, Outdoor Guernsey offers cycle tours. There are three routes with each of them having a different focus. The West Coast Tour starts at L’Eree and explores different monuments, military forts, bunkers, local legends as well as coastal and inland lanes.
