Community Fund FAQs

Why are you running a community fund?

Because we want to support local volunteers who do really great things by helping others less fortunate in our communities.

Condor has always been a long term supporter of the Islands.

How much money will you offer?

The fund has a total pot of £20,000 and we will provide cash grants for small amounts of money up to £2,000.

How much money can I apply for?

You may apply for up to £2,000.

In general, the average donation is usually in the region of £1,000-£2,000 and the total pot is worth £20,000.

Who can apply for funding?

Applications are considered from within the Channel Islands only and include these categories:

• Individuals
• Church groups
• Charities
• Community groups
• Amateur sports clubs
• Cooperatives
• Environmental projects
• Unincorporated associations
• Schools
• Social enterprises

How do I apply?

How will you assess applications?

We consider any application that supports worthwhile initiatives and apply the criteria of sustainability, local benefit and enjoyment for others.

Can we apply if we are looking to support a project overseas?

No, the Fund only provides funding to projects and activities in the Channel Islands. We are not able to help with initiatives from outside or to fund off-Island travel.

I have applied previously and was unsuccessful. Can I apply again?

Yes, you can apply to the Fund again.

Fund opens for applications:
