That represents an additional 36,852 passengers compared with the same period in 2024.
The growth has continued beyond the summer peak, with a 52.9% rise between Guernsey and St Malo in the three months to September. September alone saw an increase of almost 96% compared with 2024.
Improved sailing times, greater choice of departures and joint marketing work with Visit Guernsey have all helped make travelling between Guernsey and France more attractive. This has seen an increase in the number of overnight visits, benefitting hotels, restaurants and hospitality.
It is also encouraging to see the broader picture: routes serving Guernsey now account for 44% of passenger traffic on the main sea routes to the Channel Islands, up from 33% in 2024.
Thank you to our partners and everyone helping to strengthen the links between Guernsey, the UK and France.
