This marks Barfleur’s second visit to the Island this year, following successful berthing trials in March.

Carrying 42 trailers of goods for local retailers, the ferry is helping to clear the backlog caused by cancellations and delays. Christophe Mathieu, CEO of Condor Ferries, highlighted the significance of this partnership, stating: “We are committed to keeping the Islands supplied, and this collaboration demonstrates the strength of our relationship with Brittany Ferries.”

Condor has also scheduled an additional sailing of the Islander this Sunday, which will help clear the remaining backlog of up to 50 trailers caused by the disruption.
