  • Passenger Services Agent

    We have an opportunity for a Passenger Services Agents to join the team at Jersey Port on a full time and casual hours basis, until 1st November 202…

    The purpose of this role is to deliver the highest level of customer service skills at all times and to ensure a positive customer experience for our passengers.

    Some of the Key Responsibilities for this role include:

    • To assist with checking-in, marshalling, loading/unloading and collection of passengers and vehicles to and from all company vessels
    • To assist in the preparation and completion of all paperwork and administrative procedures relating to all vehicle, passenger and vessel movements
    • To assist in achieving targets and standards as set down by the Ports and Operations Management team
    • To be competent in cash and till handling procedures
    • To undertake the efficient and courteous answering of incoming contacts over the counter or in our Contact Centre

    The successful candidate will have previous customer service experience, including excellent communication skills – both verbal and written. They will be a strong team player and have relevant computer skills.

    The intended location for this role is Jersey.

    The purpose of this role is to assist the Café with the efficient running of Harry Rocks Café and Snack Bar. This will include all aspects of the café operation including equipment & facilities, Health & Safety, customer care and administration.

    The purpose of this role is to ensure that our passengers are kept safe at all times, including in an emergency. Other responsibilities include welcoming and assisting passengers, ensuring that the ship is kept clean and maintained and serving passengers in the onboard shop, café, bars and Club Class Lounge.

     

    The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be able to work effectively under pressure as part of a fun and energising team. You will need to be able to manage your time effectively and have a flexible and adaptable approach. Experience in a customer facing role is essential, and experience within the retail or food & beverage industry would be beneficial.

     

    The intended location for this role is onboard our High Speed Crafts although you may be required to work onboard other vessels if needed.

    We have a number of opportunities for a Warehouse Agents to join the Operations team on a full time, temporary basis until 31st October 2022 

    The purpose of this role is to ensure safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods in a timely manner, and in accordance with all relevant HMRC legislation and Company procedures, whilst maintaining the working safety culture throughout the warehouse and ensuring timely operation of all daily warehouse functions.

    Some of the Key Responsibilities for this role include:

    • To complete picking, packing and distribution activity within the warehouse operation, to ensure it is completed in a safe, timely and efficient manner, as directed.
    • Liaison with couriers, delivery drivers and transport companies as required in a professional manner.
    • Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.
    • Completion of all required paperwork in accordance with Company guidelines and Standard Operation Procedures.
    • Delivering goods onboard our fleet of vessels

    The successful candidate will have a Full UK Driving Licence, as well as manual handling experience. They will ideally hold a forklift and towing licence and have previous warehouse experience. They will have good interpersonal skills and be a strong team player.

  • IT Support Engineer

    We have an opportunity for an IT Support Engineer to join the team within the IT department on a permanent, full-time basis.   

    Location: Poole

    The purpose of this role is to assist the IT Support Team with providing support to business applications and infrastructure and provide a high quality of IT services to Condor.

    Some of the Key Responsibilities for this role include:

    • Log calls on IT Helpdesk system and assign as applicable
    • Provide technical support queries via phone, email and in person
    • To diagnose and resolve users IT problems
    • Escalate or allocate complex IT issues to IT Senior Support Engineers
    • Ensure that users are kept up to date at all times
    • To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries

    The successful candidate will have experience with providing IT Support, ideally within a support environment. They must be able to work under pressure and have good time management skills.
