If you have reduced mobility or require wheelchair access, please call us on 0345 609 1026 at the time of booking to discuss what type of assistance you may need.

The information you provide is confidential and will help us to help you. In some circumstances, there are limits on the number of passengers with reduced mobility that we are able to carry on a sailing and we will advise you of this.

If you need to be parked close to a lift or ramp, it is essential that you tell us when making your booking and again at ticket check-in. The limited spaces for wheelchair passengers close to the lifts or ramps are only allocated to passengers with a disability on a first come first served basis, at the time of booking. The loading crew will do their best to help you negotiate the busy garage and make your way to the lifts or ramps; this will be a little more tricky during peak holiday times and we will be happy to advise you of the best routes and times to travel for maximum space and comfort.

The Best St Peter Port Restaurants

There are so many fantastic St Peter Port restaurants to choose from, with a variety of different cuisines available on the doorstep of the harbour. For the best places to eat in St Peter Port take a look at our recommendations below!

Alba, St Peter Port

A recent addition to St Peter Port, Alba is located in the historic Market Square and draws inspiration from classic French, Spanish and Italian flavours.

Fusing a 1920s Cuban and Mexican-inspired cocktail bar with an open-kitchen restaurant and conservatory, the ground-floor dining area opens directly onto Market Square, creating a vibrant ambience and providing alfresco dining in the summer months.

With a focus on local ingredients and wood-fired cooking, the menu will leave you spoilt for choice, with dishes including lobster tagliolini, Guernsey crab and duck confit. You will even find seasonal offerings, such as their summer gnocchi and Alba's 'Summer of Spritz' drinks menu.

If you’re looking for a drink, the Latin-inspired bar hosts a vast selection of tequila, rum, margaritas, daiquiris and more, as well as mocktail options. With special additions such as live DJs and monthly Sunday lunches, Alba is a buzzing hotspot to add to your St Peter Port itinerary.

Cornerstone

Tucked away on Cornet Street, just a stone’s throw from the centre of St Peter Port and Hauteville House, you’ll find the iconic Cornerstone.

Named after “The Cornerstone” - which was placed in 1700 and marks the location of one of four gates that locals used to access St Peter Port - the site offers a rich history and a warm welcome, where people can come together and enjoy delicious food and a wide range of beverages, including some superb real ales and local spirits.

The menu combines a mix of pub classics, French bistro, vegetarian and vegan dishes, as well as seasonal specials and revolving favourites on their blackboard.

Fukku, St Peter Port

Established in 2022 as a Japanese Izakaya, Fukku has evolved into a restaurant, now located on Smith Street in the centre of St Peter Port.

Respect for ingredients is at the heart of Japanese cuisine, as well as simplicity and attention to detail. Fukku sources produce from Japanese merchants and local suppliers, and uses traditional preparation techniques to create meals that are both authentic and delicious.

The menu covers a wide variety of dishes, allowing you to sample everything from sushi and sashimi to ramen, bento boxes and salads, with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options available. With their open kitchen, diners can enjoy watching the chefs at work, or even sit by the bar and let the team craft a bespoke meal.

The drinks menu also takes inspiration from Japan, with the inclusion of sake, whisky and Japanese-brewed ales and beer, alongside wines and non-alcoholic soft drinks.

Le Fregate, St Peter Port

La Frégate Hotel & Restaurant oozes charm and character whilst still boasting a contemporary vibe. The fine-dining menu focuses on British, European and seafood dishes that are guaranteed to get your mouth-watering. The restaurant is beautifully lit and has the most remarkable views of St Peter Port which are just as stunning at night. Treat yourself to an impressive three course meal and watch the world go by. If other meals are more up your street, the restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and after-hour options.

Red

Red’s restaurant menu changes with the seasons, as does their weekly specials and don’t forget to look out for their meat shop chalkboard for different cuts and weights. Whether you are after a delicious Sunday brunch or a great value dinner & lunch, the options will cater to all needs. Take a seat at their bar or settle down on their terrace for a signature cocktail.

Hook

HOOK has been a favourite of Islanders and visitors for many years, and has recently undergone a reinvention. HOOK celebrates the best of nearby land and seas with a seasonal menu focussed on small plates for sharing, so you can discover more of our Island's flavours. Dishes are cooked over coal or served raw to highlight the natural flavour, and an extensive cocktail, mocktail and wine list is on offer too. You can find the restaurant on the seafront in St Peter Port.

Balthazar

Balthazar has quickly become the place to go for drinks in front of the harbour. With a cosy restaurant filled with plush benches and low lighting in the back and a sleek, long bar as you walk in, not to mention a viral disco in the ladies’ toilet, it’s somewhere you need to pop into at least once.

La Nautique, St Peter Port

Le Nautique will take you on one of the most incredible fine dining experiences on the island. Their Head Chef Günter produces a classical menu with a modern twist, adapting old recipes to create a meal that is completely unique. Their menu includes fresh produce and seafood straight from Guernsey waters. Make sure to try their Chef Recommends portion of the menu for some mouthwatering alternatives, it is constantly updated to incorporate seasonally available produce. The wine list is extensive and is the perfect pairing for your meal.
