Hidden Gems in St Brelade’s Bay

Jersey in itself is a hidden gem as the secluded spots and incredible restaurants are an experience like no other, not to mention that you are never more than 10 minutes away from the magical sea. St Brelade’s Bay, Jersey is one of the most popular beaches on the island, but our recommendation below offer something a bit different…

 

Fish n Beads is a lovely little shack situated on St Brelade’s Bay promenade and provides a unique jewelry-making experience. The quirky shop offers readymade driftwood items, jewelry and homemade cards as well as the opportunity to make your own jewelry. It is a relaxing and fun thing to do with your family and friends!

 

Nearby you can find Reg’s Garden at Badger's Holt - La Route des Genets, St Brelade. Visit the Koi pond, waterfall and admire the thousands of plants that are thoughtfully tended. The eccentric fairy garden is loved by kids and there is even a 40-metre-long squirrel walk rope overhead. The gardens are free to visit but donations are welcome and go to charity.

 

For a uniquely exhilarating experience, go blow karting down St Brelade’s!  A blow kart has three wheels with a body similar to a go-kart and the sail attached gives the kart enough momentum to move.
