2nd Officer (Conventional Ro/Ro)

Condor Marine Crewing Services

We are currently recruiting for a 2nd Officer to work aboard our conventional RoPax ferries operating between Portsmouth and the Channel Islands.

 Applicants must have experience of working on this type of vessel and previously sailed in the position of 2nd Officer holding, as a minimum, an STCW 95 (as amended) OOW cert.

 The position is for a fixed term contract of 6 months.

 You will normally be rostered on a two weeks on/two weeks off basis.

Passenger Services Manager - Jersey

Location: Jersey

Passenger Services Manager                                              Permanent Full time

Based in Jersey

We have an opportunity for a Passenger Services Manager (full time) on a permanent contract to be based in Jersey, Channel Islands. 

The successful applicant will have previous experience in the Passenger Services role, and will be responsible for managing all daily operational and commercial activities within the Port, providing excellent Customer Service and to ensure best working practices are adhered to at all times. 

The successful applicant will have experience in managing a team of staff, overseeing preparation and distribution of all paperwork relating to freight, will manage and assist with the loading of all passengers and vehicles onto our ferries and will maintain day to day liaison and communications with local transfer operators, car hire companies and Tour Operations with regard to schedules and amendments, and administer day tours.

Chief Engineers (Conventional & High Speed)

Location: Poole

Chief Engineer  x 2                                              Permanent

Condor Fast Ferries & Conventional                         Full Time          

We have 2 Permanent opportunities for 2 Chief Engineers, one to predominantly work on Condor’s fast ferries operating out of Poole, the other on our conventional ships operating out of Portsmouth but we would expect there to be the opportunity to work on both types of ferry.

 The successful applicant will have a 111/11 No Limitations Ticket and will be responsible for the safe, efficient organisation and economical operation of machinery, machinery spaces, electrical and electronic equipment at all times on board ship, working closely with the Master and Chief Officer.

Engineering Officer of the Watch

Location: Poole

Engineering Officer of the Watch  

Fixed term contract x 6 months

Based at Poole

We have an opportunity for an Engineering Officer of the Watch, to be based on our High Speed Ferries, operating out of Poole and St Malo

The purpose of this role is to support the Chief Engineer with all aspects of maintaining an operational and fully functional ship at all times.

Applicants will be expected to have previous experience in a similar role, and must possess Class 111/1 and EOOW Class 4 – 111/11 Unlimited to 3,000 kws classifications.

Our high speed ferries operate on a daily basis out of Poole or St Malo to the Channel Islands, on a 7 day on / 7 day off roster, there is no accommodation on board.

We can offer an excellent remuneration, life assurance and concessionary fares on our vessels to the successful applicant.
