Seasonal Reservations Consultant

Location: Weymouth

As operators of Fast Ferry and Conventional Ferry services to the Channel Islands and France we are currently looking to employ staff to work as part of our busy Reservations Team based in Weymouth. 

As part of our Team you will be involved in all aspects of customer sales and services over the telephone and online. We operate in a very competitive industry, where our customers demand high levels of customer service. It is therefore essential that successful candidates will ensure these high standards are delivered. You will also possess the following attributes:

Excellent communication skills-both verbal and written
Confident telephone manner
Experience in customer services
Accurate keyboard skills
Flexibility

The position involves some shifts and weekends worked on a rota basis. In return you can expect a competitive rate of pay and excellent concessionary travel.

Seasonal Chief Officer

Location: Seagoing

Condor Ferries is the leading operator of high speed and conventional ro-ro vessels between the UK, Channel Islands and France.  We are currently recruiting for  Seasonal Chief Officers to join our friendly team on our high speed craft.

Expected rota of one week on, one week off until October 2012.

Qualifications: Min STCW (95) Reg II/1 Chief Officer

2nd Officer (Conventional Ro/Ro)

Location: Seagoing

We are currently recruiting for a 2nd Officer to work onboard our Conventional Ferries operating from Portsmouth and the Channel Islands on a fixed term contract, at the end of the term this will be reviewed. You will be rostered on two weeks on two weeks off basis. Qualifications: STCW (95) OOW cert.

Applicants must have experience of working on ro/ro vessels and previously sailed in the position of 2nd Officer.

Seasonal Steward/ess

Location: Seagoing

(Salaries €17,773.50 per annum, pro rata)

We are currently recruiting for seasonal crew based near the port of Saint Malo for our forthcoming summer season.

We will be recruiting seasonal stewards/esses for our High Speed Crafts which operate out of Saint Malo to Guernsey, Jersey and the UK.

Duties include all aspects of passenger care and safety such as cafe assistant, retail/shop assistant, cabin cleaning duties and assisting passengers with general queries.

No previous experience necessary as full training will be given.

Interviews will be held on the 22nd May for commencment in June until the 30th September.
