Blended whisky is a fusion of a number of strong individual malts. Blends can be as complex as a malt, but are more delicate in character. We have a great choice onboard for you to consider including these we’ve highlighted below.
By maturing the finest blend in sun dried sherry oak casks, this distinctly sweet, rich and smooth whisky is pure indulgence in a bottle.
NOSE: Black cherries, cocoa powder and oakwood.
PALATE: Sweet dried fruit, spicy cinnamon sticks and nutmeg.
FINISH: Dark chocolate with lingering spiciness. Medium sweet.
A marriage of over 20 of the finest Highland single malt whiskies. It’s a whisky inspired by one of the 20th centuries great leaders.
NOSE: Buttery vanilla, toffee apple, brioche covered in Manuka honey and hints of Old English marmalade.
PALATE: An initial wave of treacle toffee, molasses, Demerara sugar and sweet sultanas enriches the palate.
FINISH: A faint sprinkling of Pontefract cakes, praline chocolate and Oolong tea completes this enigmatic blended malt whisky.
Smooth, rich and sweet, Monkey Shoulder is a blend of three different Speyside single malt whiskies. Refreshingly tasty neat, over ice or in cocktails.
NOSE: Complex fruit, malty sweetness, red liquorice, spice.
PALATE: Complex fruit, malt, liquorice, spice, mellow vanilla.
FINISH: Medium. Fruit, grassy malt, earthy.
