Are you a budding baker, or perhaps just a big fan of bread? Either way, you’ll likely have a great time, and learn a great deal by attending a Sourdough Extravaganza event, held in Wimborne by chef, author, and sourdough expert Sharon Roberts.
The event breaks down into several exciting (and scrumptious) talks and tastings. ‘Unlocking the Secrets of Sourdough’, will take you through the making of real sourdough bread, and how it compares to supermarket sourdough. You’ll also have the opportunity to try it yourself.
Following will be the ‘Sourdough Pizza Extravaganza’, during which you’ll experience a step-by-step demonstration of how to make stunning and delicious sourdough pizzas, and once again, this does include a tasting. Not only this, but you’ll even receive a fresh pizza dough of your own to use at home!
To top it all off there will also be a wine tasting, guided by an expert in the field, during which you will be able to try wines you can make at home!
