In addition, if the vehicle being taken is designed for the carriage of commercial goods it shall be reserved as freight regardless of its dimensions. We’ve done everything we can to help you travel safely and comfortably, from the moment you arrive at check-in, and for every step of the way.

Fully trained staff will be on hand to guide and assist you, and helpful signage will make sure we all keep a safe distance. From hand gel stations throughout the ships to cashless only payments on board, we have thought of everything to help you sail confidently and get you to your destination safely.

If you have any questions about what travelling with us will be like on our back to service sailings, please read through our new and enhanced health and safety measures below to help put your mind at ease.

General Measures

  • We’ve significantly reduced the number of passengers we carry across our fleet so there’s room for everyone to enjoy a space of their own

  • Social distance queuing will be introduced for boarding and for the use of all onboard facilities

  • All onboard purchases will be cashless, for everyone’s protection

  • Please sit only in your allocated seat. Seats close to you will be clearly marked unallocated to allow social distancing

  • Visits to pets on the car deck won’t be possible on our high-speed fleet, but rest assured our crew will be checking on them for you

Check-in

  • We’ve installed protective screens at check-in desks

  • To help make checking-in safe and efficient, new barriers will be put in place, with social distancing markers on the floor to guide you

  • You will see our staff wearing face coverings and in some circumstances, other forms of PPE

  • There will be limits on the number of vehicles moving from the port to the ferry at any given time

  • Foot passengers will need to use a contactless check-in option, either their e-boarding card or, when it becomes available, our new check-in app

Embarkation

  • We’ll send you information before departure to advise you how to get from the car deck to the stairwells safely, and to keep a safe distance

  • We’ll ask for your patience while each passenger finds their way from the car deck to the stairwells, following clear instructions from our crew

  • All passengers will be asked to use the hand gel supplied before going up the stairs to the passenger lounges

  • There will be a limit to the number of passengers permitted in the lift at a time




On board

  • Hydroalcoholic gel dispensers will be available in all passenger areas

  • Our crews will be adhering to strict social distancing measures

  • You’ll see a range of signage to help you move throughout the ship safely

  • The children’s play area will remain closed for the time being

  • If you require assistance during your crossing, please stay in your seat and a member of the crew will be available to help you

  • In order to increase the outdoor space available for every passenger to enjoy the fresh sea air, it will no longer be possible to smoke on board our high speed ferries

  • We’ve installed protective screens at tills to keep everyone safe

  • You will see our crew wearing face coverings, and in some circumstances where closer contact may be needed, other forms of PPE

  • You will see the crew wearing special t-shirts reminding you to keep a safe distance

  • Club Class and Horizon Lounge doors will remain open throughout our sailings

  • If you're travelling with children, we ask that you please supervise them at all times to ensure social distancing is being maintained

  • Onboard cleaning routines have been increased and enhanced

  • In order to comply with government rules on public transport, all passengers must wear a face covering




Food & Beverage Outlets

  • Onboard restaurants, bars and cafés will be selling a selection of sandwiches, crisps and other snacks along with bottled drinks in a paper bag

  • We will not be selling any hot food for the time being.

  • Food and beverage outlets on board will operate on a self-service, cashless payment basis

  • The Kiosk and Coffee Bar on board Condor Rapide will be closed, along with the Bureau de Change

Adore Duty Free Shop

  • There will be a limit of 5 passengers in the duty free shop at any one time onboard our high-speed ferries

  • New floor markings will help you keep a safe distance while you shop

  • Commodore Clipper's shop will work according to a one in, one out system

Disembarkation

  • One area of the ship will disembark at a time. This is so we can control social distancing. We will make sure you have plenty of time to use the stairs and reach your car safely.
