Reporting to the Executive Director – People & Culture, this varied role supports delivery of the People & Culture strategy whilst supporting staff and management across the business day to day.

The purpose of this role is to:

• Work with the Executive Director - People & Culture to deliver a proactive and efficient service to the business, across all sites, ships and locations
• To be the first point of contact for queries coming into the department and to escalate where necessary
• To provide confidential, intuitive, and technically competent advice and guidance for employees and managers
• To oversee administration of the Talent system, recruitment activities and to conduct People & Culture analysis and management reporting where required

The successful candidate must be able to build and maintain excellent relationships at all levels, with strong communication skills and a proactive approach. Proven experience working in an HR generalist role is essential, including employee relations case work, and applicants must hold a CIPD qualification at level 5 or above.
