  • Electrical Engineer

    Location: On board

    Some of the Key Responsibilities for this role include:


    • The organisation, planning and implementation of all Electrical and Electronic repairs and maintenance onboard our Fleet. The successful candidate will be required to work on:
    o Vessel steering systems (Wartzilla), fault finding and calibrating.
    o Generator control and power management and synchronisation.
    o Fire Detection Systems.
    o Audio Visual equipment and PA systems.
    o Engine monitoring and control systems.
    o Navigational and Radio equipment.
    • Providing technical support and advice to the Chief Engineer and Ship Manager and ensuring compliance with all marine regulations and legislation.


    As you will be working as the sole Electrical Engineer on-board, the successful candidate must have good electrical and electronic knowledge, and preferably have a Marine engineering background. Experience of 415V power generation and distribution and 3 phase motors and starters would be beneficial.


    This will be a challenging role, so we are looking for a determined, self-motivated, confident and conscientious individual that can communicate at all levels and has a minimum of five years’ experience working within Electrical engineering.


    The location for this role will be on-board. (Predominately High Speed Crafts.)

  • Freight Agent

    We have an opportunity for a Freight Agent to join the Freight team in Jersey on a full time, permanent basis.

    Location: Saint Helier

    The purpose of this role is to ensure excellent customer service is delivered to our Freight customers, ensuring best working practices are adhered to at all times to ensure a positive customer experience.


    Some of the Key Responsibilities for this role include:


    • Assist with checking-in, marshalling, loading/unloading, collection of passenger vehicles and freight/goods to and from all company vessels
    • Assist in the preparation and completion of all paperwork and administrative procedures relating to all vehicle, passenger, freight and vessel movements
    • Meet daily targets and attend the team briefings


    The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including good grammar and punctuation skills, and be computer literate.

  • Passenger Services Agents

    We have exciting opportunities for Passenger Services Agents to join us on a seasonal basis. 

    Location: St Peter Point, Guernsey

    The purpose of this role is to deliver the highest level of customer service skills at all times and to ensure a positive customer experience for our passengers.

     Some of the Key Responsibilities for this role include:

    • To assist with checking-in, marshalling, loading/unloading and collection of passengers and vehicles to and from all company vessels

    • To assist in the preparation and completion of all paperwork and administrative procedures relating to all vehicle, passenger and vessel movements

    • To assist in achieving targets and standards as set down by the Ports and Operations Management team

    • To be competent in cash and till handling procedures

     The successful candidate will have previous customer service experience, including excellent communication skills – both verbal and written. They will be a strong team player and have relevant computer skills.

  • Contact Centre Agent

    We have an opportunity for a Contact Centre Agent to join the Customer Services team on a full time basis until 31st October 2018.

    Location: Poole

    The purpose of this role is to provide excellent customer service in accordance with Condor’s standards, regulations and requirements and to represent the company in a professional manner to its customers over the telephone, email, webchat and social media.

    Some of the Key Responsibilities for this role include:

    • To undertake the efficient and courteous answering of incoming telephone calls and make outgoing calls

    • To provide the smooth and efficient processing of all basic reservations promoting all company products and services
    • To action and accurately relay information in all aspects of company operations, ensuring that all facts are correct

  • Crewing Coordinator

    We have the opportunity for a Crewing Coordinator to join the Operations team on a full-time, permanent basis.

    Location: Any Condor Location

    The purpose of this role is to ensure the crewing department is supported on a day to day basis including crew logistics, travel and accommodation.


    Some of the Key Responsibilities for this role include:


    • To publish monthly crew related rosters and circulate to appropriate vessel/individuals
    • To act as sole point of contact for all crew travel requirements
    • To book hotel accommodation for employees should it be necessary
    • To liaise with Crewing Manager and Head of Operations with regards to ad-hoc crewing requirements

    The successful candidate will have excellent IT skills and experience in booking accommodation and travel. Knowledge of creating crew rosters, and strong administration skills are essential, as well as a high attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
    The successful candidate will also be expected to be on call for one week out of every three.

    We have a new opportunity for a Customer Services Supervisor to join the Customer Service team on a full time, permanent basis.
     

    Location: Poole

    The purpose of this role is to assist and support the Customer Service Management team by supervising efficient performance of Contact Centre agents, whilst representing the company in a professional manner to its customers at all times.

    • To supervise, monitor and encourage the quality of work and work output of the Contact Centre Agents

    • To oversee the smooth and efficient processing of all concessionary, standard group and ITX group reservations, ensuring that Contact Centre Agents are provide with appropriate training

    • To deal with on a day to day basis any function that falls beyond the remit of the Contact Centre Agent


    The successful candidate will have a previous experience working within a Contact Centre along with the ability to lead and manage a team. They will have excellent communication skills and ideally a relevant qualification in Customer Service.
