Condor Ferries reports rise in mobile bookings

Cross-Channel ferry operator Condor Ferries has seen a significant rise in mobile bookings following the launch of its mobile booking service late last year. The service, which allows customers to book travel using most handheld devices - including Apple and Android compatible smartphones and smaller tablets – is already proving hugely popular with customers, with over £80,000 worth of bookings made in the two months since going live.

Caravans Go Free

Caravan owners planning a getaway this summer can still make their money go further, with Condor Ferries Caravans Go Free offer still available on summer crossings. Anyone booking before 31 March to travel on Sunday services direct from Portsmouth to Cherbourg between May and September will be able to take their caravan on board free of charge, opening up a host of possibilities to explore the continent this summer.

In fact, the offer is proving so popular that caravan bookings for 2014 have already risen by almost 10% compared to last year. This year Condor Ferries has also removed the supplements for taking a motorhome to France, which means you can travel at the cost of a standard car.
