Condor Ferries - new brand revealed
New brand revealed for Condor Ferries
Condor Ferries has unveiled a brand new look for the company, with a complete refresh of the company identity – marking a new era in sea travel.
With the introduction of Condor Liberation – Condor’s new state-of-the-art fast ferry – and a new ten year licence to serve the Channel Islands in place, the company is looking ahead to the future and recognises this is the perfect time to refresh the look and feel of the brand.
Three new colours are at the core of the new company identity – dark blue, pink and gold, representing more of a leisure and holiday outlook. The ribbons - which were a distinctive feature in the ship’s livery before - have evolved and will be used on the ships hulls as well as on new branding throughout the rest of the company, including the new logo.
The new brand will also embody Condor Ferries’ new outlook and concept of Good Times – signifying the Good Times ahead for the company, its customers and the Channel Islands.
The new brand is already being introduced, with the Condor Ferries website – condorferries.com – and mobile site now appearing in the new look. It will be rolled out across the rest of the company in the coming weeks as all aspects are updated, from port offices and signage, as well as marketing materials including advertising, staff uniforms and the interiors onboard all of Condor’s ships.
Condor Liberation will lead the fleet and will be kitted out in the new brand in time for her launch in late March.
One key part of the new brand will be the updated uniforms. Designed to provide staff with both style and comfort, the smart grey suits will be offset with flashes of pink, with pink neck scarves and ties. The new uniform design was developed in close cooperation with the crew and staff who will wear it, and will be worn by all crew and port staff from the end of March.
The new brand was developed by Bournemouth-based full service agency Walker Agency, who has worked with Condor to develop the new brand proposition.
Justin Amey, Strategic Marketing Manager, commented: “We are delighted to introduce our new brand – it is the result of many months of hard work put in by the team here at Condor and also by the team at Walker Agency. It represents a new chapter for Condor Ferries and the Good Times ahead.
“As a company, over the past months there have been several significant milestones – our 50th anniversary, a new ten year licence to serve the Channel Islands to UK route and the successful purchase of our new fast ferry, Condor Liberation, which will come into service at the end of March. So, this is the ideal time to refresh our brand and bring it up-to-date with our new vision and identity – Good Times for our customers and Islands.”
Condor’s new ferry – the recently named Condor Liberation – is one of a kind in northern Europe and sail from Poole to the Channel Islands on daily basis throughout the summer, increasing opportunities to travel, improved reliability, increased capacity, and a much greater level of comfort with smoother journeys.

Condor New Ferry Named
Condor Ferries is pleased to announce the official name of its brand new, state-of-the-art ferry - Condor Liberation - recognising the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Channel Islands.
The name has been chosen by a judging panel following a naming competition held in the Channel Islands, which received an incredible 7,146 competition entries. Clive Davies from Guernsey was the ultimate winner – he will receive a year’s free travel with Condor Ferries and will have the opportunity to visit Condor Liberation to see the name he chose being painted onto the ship in Poole.

Condor 102 customisation begins
The customisation of Condor 102 – the latest addition to the Condor Ferries fleet – has started in Poole where interior refurbishment specialists Trimline will complete a full internal fit out.
Trimline’s work will include the installation of a new Duty Free shop, children’s play area, Information Desk and range of eating and drinking outlets. The team will also finalise the three new seating lounges, including two upgrade areas that will enable passengers to travel in ultimate style.
In the Duty Free Shop installation alone, Trimline has used 1,000m2 of lightweight honey combe board, 72m2 of solid surface board, 1,656 pieces of stainless steel and 180m of strip lighting.

Record breaking response to name Condor’s new ferry
A competition to name Condor’s new high speed ferry has attracted entries from thousands of islanders across the two Bailiwicks
Inspired by the opportunity to name the new ship and win a year’s free ferry travel, over 7,000 responses to the competition, which was run in conjunction with the Jersey Evening Post and Guernsey Press during December, were received.
The state-of-the-art 102m trimaran ferry is currently being customised in the UK, and will serve the UK to Channel Islands routes from the end of March.
