Most of the parking in St Malo operates on a pay and display system.

Shopping
Almost all shops are closed on Bank Holidays, including the hypermarkets. Some shops and banks close on Mondays. Most shops in the Old Town are open on Sundays in August, excluding the Hypermarkets. Many shops have a 2 hour lunch break, but do stay open later in the evening.

Brittany has a warm, temperate climate. Winter temperatures rarely fall below freezing, and spring and summer are normally warm and sunny.

Condor Ferries offer the facility of carrying accompanied caravans. Caravans can be booked directly with Condor Ferries.

Electricity is supplied at 230 volts (50 hertz). An adapter is needed if travelling from outside Continental Europe.
